With a population of more than 170 millions, Pakistan has a literacy rate of around 45%. Among them, about 40% have an average schooling life of 8 years or more. And, out of this above-average literate population of Pakistan, hardly 4% can sufficiently comprehend and fluently read, write and speak English language. And, for this reason alone, a vast majority of literate and curious people - with a difficulty to read and comprehend English language - remains deprived of excitement associated with day-to-day scientific discoveries and technological innovations taking place around the globe.

Committed to bridge this knowledge divide, Global Science focuses the said majority of literate Pakistanis - with special interest in science and technology. Our readers, therefore, span a wide spectrum of age groups, geographical locations, and levels of education/ expertise. Although Global Science is equally read by youth to elders, yet its contents specifically focus young generation - aged between 14 to 24 years.
